wolfpup
i rec'd the results from EQ and they listed that my info was verified and the "Paid as agreed accounts that have been paid in full will automatically be deleted ten years after DOLA". TEN YEARS???? These disputes were for medical collections. I am not sure what that means. I thought it was 7 years. has anyone else rec'd results like this?thanks - shannon
MaggieNY
Positive tradelines usually stay for 10 years (I think Experian keeps them forever though) and negative tradelines stay for 7. If they are reporting as "Paid as agreed" and "paid in full", then they are being reported as positive. Therefore, they will be on your report for 10 years (which is, of course, a good thing). However, if your disputes were for medical collections, I don't know why they would mention that.
