workinninetofive
Hi, I know we have discussed this. If someone could bump it, that would be great.. I couldn't find.I DV'd a CA over a phone bill. They have sent me the bills. Is this validation?
Josh Mcgrath
No. "generic print-outs or billing statments are not validation". Unless they gave you the contract with your signature, they dont have anything. (be prepared for a fight)
workinninetofive
Yeah, I'm used to fighting LOL. It's for $71, I might be better off just PFD.. They of course have not put in dispute on my report.
Josh Mcgrath
well. you have them for 1k bucks already. get a lawyer or send an ITS agreeing for them to send you 1k and you wont file suit.
LadynRed
Not so fast. Phone service is a bit different. Most people NEVER sign any kind of contract, you call the phone company and get your service turned on, so there will not be any 'signed contract' for them to produce. If they sent you copies of all the actual statements, they have pretty much proven that you owe the debt. Its pretty easy for them to verify that you had service at any given location and you used it.For $71, pay the silly thing and get it over with. You could have a huge problem getting phone service elsewhere .. or wind up paying a huge deposit.
