Usually, you can just call them up with a copy of your report and tell them there's a few addresses on there that aren't yours. Providing there are no accounts on your report that have the addresses attached, they usually delete them.

If there are quite a few addresses on there that aren't even close to right, you may be the victim of identity theft so you may want to look into that.

I just called EX disputing incorrect addys and names. I pick the 3 addys I had ever lived at and had the rest investigated.

I did notice that there were some addys that corresponded with the ex-wifes addy after our divorse. Could that be considered identity theft? Because I tried to have inquiries remove thru CRA but they said I can only do that if i suspect indentity theft.

Make a copy of your DL with your current address and black out the actual DL #. Draft a letter listed that you would like the following removed: and then list the address that are unrecognizable and incorrect. State your current address. Send both of these things in, the should update. Many people also have sucess with calling directly and telling them that they don't reconize some of the address or that you never lived that and you would like them deleted. They usually do it right there on the phone.
