DocDon
I can't believe that Crap1 is going to harass a senior citizen over one missed payment. 120 days late.... sure, but not by missing one payment.Because this is so odd, I would suggest having her file a police report. That way, the phone company will be obligated to turn over the phone numbers so you can find out who it is that is calling. If it is Cap1, somebody should be fired immediately, and your mother compensated accordingly. ViktorVaughn
yes, that is true. but wouldn't you agree that collection agencies are out to make money? wouldn't you agree that calling someone 25 times would not only be a waste of time, but a waste of money as well? do you think capital one has so few accounts to work that they have nothing better to do than call on a 35$ delinquency at least 3 times per hour, all day long?doesn't make sense, does it? LadynRed
Since when does anything a CREDITOR or collector does have to make sense ?? As MASSIVE as Crap1 is, they put her number in an auto-dialer and let it run amok. NO, it doesn't make sense, but I do believe her ! I had Household cretins harrass me about 10 years ago for a missed $50 payment (I had lost my job).. those jerks were ringing my phone EVERY 10 MINUTES !!! I picked up the first 2 or 3, the rest I just ignored because I wasn't going to have some pimple-faced brat calling me ugly names and yelling at me. It may be stupid, but they DO do it ! They think that since the FDCPA doesn't apply to them they can do and say anything they want. They also seem to think that harrassing you will make you pay up faster.. just to shut them up and make them go away. Well, if you ain't got the money.. you ain't got it and no amount of harrassment will make a money tree grow !!!!
