reno2360
Has anyone dealt with these people, they made an inquiry on my report today and called my house yesterday. They didn't leave a message though. I found their website and I am dying to know what they want. They are a CA out of Buffalo, NY....Has anyone dealt with them? Also I am hazy on the rule regarding the five days they have to contact me about debt validation, mini-miranda... can they say they contacted me even though they left no message? It shows on my caller-ID. You ALWAYS communicate everything in writing.I hope I wasn't unclear.
reno2360
I know, never call them... but this time I got a veiled threat from their legal department to garnish my wages. They also lied about contacting me previously. I typed out our converstion word for word as we were on the phone. However I would not recommend calling a CA, ever, either even though this worked out OK. I feel like I am ready for their attack now.

DocDon
The collection industry brings in about 10 billion a year. Politicians only see dollar signs - they're pretty much oblivious to anything else. Keep that in mind......
