mzjazzyazz
I am so angry. Just as got all of the collections off my old account. Here comes 4 more. Grrrrrrrr. My credit score is worse than what it was before I started. I feel real discouraged right now. Especially since I have been going broke getting these accounts off of my credit report. (pay for deletes). This sucks. Im just venting right now.
momof5
Girl, I feel your pain! I started in low 500s in 2002. I had 2 BKs, 8 judgments, tax lien, and all baddies. By Mar of 2003, I was in the HIGH 600s and looking at joining the 700 club! My first hit came with the aging of the second BK. I no longer had public records, but the age of credit took a hit. Then in December *8* medical collections (from early 2002) hit my bureau. I was back in the low 500s again. Well, I came back to the sites to start working on it. Here it is only a couple of weeks later and I have increased to mid to high 500s.We both know it simply takes time, but will happen! Buck up, soldier, you can do this! We will do this - again - together!!!!
paw67
I can definatley understand your anger and frustration. Don't let it discourage you. If you do then they will win. Keep at it and you will get your reports clean again. I too am very close. I had clean reports but then for some reason all 3 reinserted the same account within about 2 weeks of each other. I am still working on getting rid of it again because I wasn't notified about the reinsertion. In the meantime, I am watching my cc's very closely to make sure that no of them attempts to increase my interest because of the reinsertion.Good luck & keep going!!!Pattypaw67
ghacorp
Time eventually cures these problems and in the meantime live frugally and be very careful with debt.

c m chase
On another note, you're going to reach a point where you'll be EXCITED to get dunning letters and new collectors. You're going to do enough research and learn enough about gathering ammo that you may even make a little money off of it.Don't worry...it all comes back around. admin
Are any of these collecitons the same companies for the same accounts?? If so, did the CRA send you the required notice within 5 days?
mzjazzyazz
No, these are different collection accounts. 2 are for the same Original Creditor who just got the account, after I sent the money order to the first collection agency. That situation is a mess itself. I am trying to get that resolved. Then there is one for a cable bill, which I am going to get the letter today from the OC verifying it is paid in full and request deletion. And then there is one more. J_Snow
It will get better... I had problems that I got cleaned up last year and now my scores are in the high 700s.I just got approved for a 50k HELOC that I'm going to use to pay off my truck and start getting the hurricane damage repaired on our house. But every once in awhile I still get letters from a new CA trying to collect on some very old debt.It does get better and its sooo worth it! workinninetofive
I'm sorry! How do you keep your reports clean after getting rid of CA'S? Just dispute every collection ltr you recieve?
J_Snow
I'm sorry! How do you keep your reports clean after getting rid of CA'S? Just dispute every collection ltr you recieve?I'm not sure I understand the question... but constant monitoring and paying your bills on time is the way to go! I occasionally get a new CA collecting on stuff that is well over 20 years old... sometimes they call, sometimes they write, sometimes its on the report... I just send them a letter and they go back to where they came from.
mzjazzyazz
I think the reason why I am so mad is because I am paying for deletes. NO money to go to the mall or nothing...lol. And then as soon as I took care of em all, here comes some more. Hopefully, these will be as easy or easier than the first set of collections. But I am on the right track now. I want a house, and I want to keep my credit sexy, so after this, Ill be in the game fa sho!
workinninetofive
JS- Yes, that is what I meant. I don't forsee anything popping up.. but you know how they are. For example, my vet sent a bill that was supposedly 90+, I pay my vet bills when I'm there.. (didn't know they did billing). Anyhow, they were going to send it collections. Until, I went over there and cleared it up. It just seems like a full time job =).
