blessed06
I was sent a capital one card that I never used! I canceled the card within on week. Months later I'm getting letters stating that I own an annual fee. Never paid the fee because I never used the card at all. Now the fee is on my credit report. The company stated that it was a mistake. what should I do?

DocDon
What was their reason for not removing the information if it was a mistake?
miracle
If the Credit card company says it was a mistake, ask them to send you written verification that the annual fee should not be on your CR, then send it off to the CRA with a dispute.
