MortgageLO
I have to say that I am very disappointed with this credit union, despite all the people raving about them! Get this. I have about 10 tradelines with nothing negative in the past 5 years, however, none of these accounts shows up on Experian. My Experian shows a charge off from about 2000 and a bad auto loan from 1999, as well as quite a few old tradelines that are positive but long since closed. My goal is to get something...anything...that shows up on Experian. I applied for membership and immediately applied for a regular credit card with $2,500 limit. Rejected. Even though I have nothing negative in 5 years! So then I asked could I send them $1,000 deposit for a share-secured loan. He said NO! They won't even approve this! So let me get this strait...I have scores around 640-650 on TU and EQ, and 617 on Experian, and over 2 years in the same profession making over 60K, but I can't get a secured loan with the famous Patelco??!! Sometimes I wonder why I bother. OH, forgot to mention I am shopping for 100% financing to buy a home once I get my tax refund....wish me luck!Scores in low 500's 24 months ago, now:TU 642EQ 651EX 617CitiFinancial unsecured $10,917AmeriCredit Car Loan $7,232Chase secured $800Wells Fargo secured $300Lowe's card $1,300Fleet secured $400Dell Financial $1,500Suntrust Ed Loan $28,800SunTrust Ed Loan $28,000Judgment TU 1999 $5,085Auto Collection 1999 $4,331Citi charge off 2000 $4,
morrow
Well, sorry to hear you got denied...thats too bad. Maybe they just dont like you. On the other hand, doesnt mean you should discourage others from applying or checking out what Patelco has to offer.
