ladyblue65
What do I do now. I have been working on my report for 2 years now. Got most of the bad stuff off 13 in all so far. Today pulled it again Equifax. Now they have enter a tradeline that I sent over a year ago for removal.Call and talked to the stupid Customer service rep. Michelle (yeh got her name) and asked why it was placed back on my report after over a year of being off. She stated that it was rmoved due to they never replied back to Equifax so that is why it was placed back on. I told her that I sent a copy of the document that they sent me for you to delete. I want to buy a house and it is the final 5 things that are driving me insane.I told here that I would walk the deletion paper work to the HQ of equifax if she would like (just a couple of blocks from where I work at) she got scared and stated to just mail it. I am walking it to them tomorrow but what do I do with the rest.Any help will do. Or good drugs Thank you everyone
LadynRed
Did you receive any notice of the re-insertion ??? Per the FCRA, they MUST notify you in writing within 5 days of the reinsertion. If they have not done so, then they are in violation of the FCRA and must remove the re-inserted tradeline.I don't quite understand .. what was the reason this CSR at EQ had for the re-insertion ?? ladyblue65
They have not sent anything out to me about the re-insertion. I EQ to ask why they placed it back on the report.Still in violation even after a year of being off and I still have the original of the deletion paper work. miracle
They are in violation if they didn't notify you of reinsertion within five days. I would probably take the original deletion papers in and point out the violation. I would be willing to bet they will delete it pretty fast. Couldn't hurt to give it a try. reno2360
I am back up at the top.... isn't the reason "Michelle" gave you i.e. that they (CA) never replied... they very reason that the CRA should REMOVE a tradeline? I thought if something could not be verified, say by not replying.. they had to remove it.I say walk the thing over, Michelle doesn't know what she is talking about.. big surprise.
