divemedic
if you want it to read "paid as agreed", get it in writing. Any promises made on the phone are worth the paper they are written on

I would bet $1 that they will not remove any negatives. They will probably just report it as "current."Maybe you can give us a little more info on the circumstances of your situation? c m chase
Seems like I read somewhere about re-aging with an open account being a GOOD thing. I'm not sure though...will look into it more.Canyouhelp?, give a little more info - that will give people more ideas on what you should do. What's the status of this account? Are you just currently late? What's going on here?
canyouhelp?
ive got a 9900.00 balance that is past due more than 90 days, the reason being i worked out a lwer payment to them so i could dig mysel out of a mess, they failed to tell me the amount i was paying wasnt enough to cover the min. payment and that every month i did this they would be reporting late. Now they contact me wanting to settle for 2900.00 and tell me they will re age my account and report it as r1 to r 4 depending on what im not sure, she will let me know tommorow thats why im kind of in a rush on this, i dont want to short myself on something regarding settling. Will the reage and r1 do the same thin as me requesting and them reporting paid in full and never late? does the reage and r1 delete all the old past due reports? Thanks for the help everyone!!! itsgettingbetter
I had some open credit accounts reaged. they were delinquent, past due, with lots of lates.reaging brought them current--and erased the negative notations.
