jcwhitaker Posted January 28, 2005 Report Share Posted January 28, 2005 i filed bk7 in 1996 and i had a auto loan that was not in bk7.. choose to paid it... i was told that even if its not in bk7 it still shows that we file bk7 with that creditor?? even though we didn't included them.. now i had other creditors that we didn't included and they didn't show anything like that... we paid them i told him that and he told me to talk to my lawyer... and i was also told that they have no control over what is said on our cra.. this is what my credit report with equifax shows.. account was included in bk7; account was closed at consumers request; bk7; auto; zero balance; does this look like a negative??? how can i fix this..?? can they do this?? is this a debt validation??? i can't believe that they can get away with this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That is way wrong.If it was NOT IIB, then it is wrong. Send a dispute to the consume reporting agency(ies) along with copies of whatever evidence you have to show it was NOT in BK. If they verify it was being IIB, you have a cause of action against BOTH the CRA and the furnisher. well before i called those people i was really checking to see if i had send my email to the right place and i was put in contact with the collection dept... do i have to wait for 30 days from the time of phone call or can i send proof right away?? i do have a copy of pink slip showing when title was release i should be able to send that right??
