Question On Med Collection

I've DV'd a med collection Agency on 2 previous Dr. Bills that are owed on from 4 years ago and one within the past year. They have sent me Validation on one but contains no signature, the other haven't recieved anything. The one they sent me validation on I sent a PFD to try to go ahead and get it settled and deleted, they responed with another printout of charges and told me the only way they could provide me with a signature is if I came there in person(fat chance on that). What's the best way to handle these to get them deleted.

Thanks

What is the signature you are trying to get? What they sent you is more likely verification. They are not required to send you any written contract etc. What was their reply to the offer to settle?

You may want to go there and explain that they cant sue you (SOL is passed probably on at least one) and there is not another way for them to get the $$.

You have to realize that most debt collectors dont know the debt collection laws, let alone SOL laws.

Just remember, the SOL has NOTHING to do with reporting the account however, unless you are in WI.
