MaggieNY
With experian, you can dispute personal information, such as phone numbers. I had two phone numbers and my drivers license number listed. I disputed them online and it came off the very next day.
stilltrying
With it being so hard to remove addresses from Experian, will it be as simple as saying to them that I don't want my phone number listed on my report ? Any advice on what phrasing would be the best to use ?
Ravenous Wolf
I got all my information updated on all three CRAs...Some took a bit more effort than others but eventually each credit report shows exactly what I want on it for personal information...That is, the address of my private mailbox and no phone numbers of driver's licenses...And by the way, the moment you give out your phone number to ANYBODY, it will eventually become circulated by the information brokers... That stuff gets into a database and is sold off...
