cainttouchthis
Hi everyone:I have sent a few private messages to some of you guys on this...but advice from all will help. This is my story : 1. Old Providian account.... 2. Providian sells to debt collector called " Recovery Associates" 3. Recov.a$$. harrass me, trying to collect the debt ( $ 1,290) 4. I find out - via the awesome disscussion boards! ( yay ! ) that i owe them nothing, hence getting them off my back.5. I have managed to get all the listings that Rec.a$$. put on my file deleted( yay ! )6. except for TRANSUNION. Transunion sends me a form letter covering their general policy, and process of verification... and tells me that the debt was verified! 7. So they take the word of 3 rd party debt collectors , that bought the debt... and was found to be not the oc... and have had to drop their attempts to gain money from me???Transunion has verified a fraud ??? ( remember Providian was the oc )8. I have sent detailed letters...this is the 2nd dispute form... and 2nd verification.IF THE OTHER AGENCIES ( equifax, experian... deleted it why cant they ???)9. WHAT NEXT??? WHAT DO i DO NEXT GUYS ???!!!!
DocDon
Duties of Furnishers of Information upon Notice of Dispute(D) if the investigation finds that the information is incomplete or inaccurate, report those results to all other consumer reporting agencies to which the person furnished the information and that compile and maintain files on consumers on a nationwide basis.Trans Union, like all the other CRA's use the procedural request as toilet paper. They only understand lawsuit.Did Recovery Associates send you notification that they were deleting?
