Valkyrine
Here's a question for you all: I've noticed on my credit reports that some of my reported credit limits are wrong: specifically, they are reported as much higher than I was actually given. I had several low limit cards ($500 max), but now they have gone charge-off and collection. A few have reported my limits are $1000, such as BankFirst and Cap 1. Why would this be?? Can I dispute on this basis??Thanks, V.
DocDon
There's another category called your "high limit", meaning the highest balance on the account. Has nothing to do with the credit limit you were initially issued.
