rodeomom
What does it mean when a CA lawyer says he will post the motion?I have filed a motion to dismiss the CA's suit, had phone conf. on monday, he said he would post the motion I was filing.I am filing this motion because CA was told by judge not to add interest in the time they were taking to provide DV to me, but they did. so that is one of the reasons I have filed this motion.explanation of posting a motion would be greatly appreciated.rodeomom
admin
Are you sure that's what he said (post a motion)? I can't find anything about this, even on nolo.com.
rodeomom
during our phone conferencethe judge told the other attorney that he had the motion in front of him that I was filing and gave him the gist of it, that it was to dismiss with predjuce and motion for relief.the other attorney responded, "well I'll just post that motion."The judge then said "well ok, I'm of course not going to give any advice here."all this is of course so greek to methanksrodeomom
willingtocope
Hopefully, one of the attornies will jump in here, but doing a google search on ...post motion legal... leads me to beleive that this is lawyer-speak for "I'll just post a motion in rebutal to that motion". On google, you'll find refererence to post-judgement motion and post-conviction motion and so on...

rodeomom
It honestly sounded like he said post the motion. But maybe I heard wrongJudge set date to hear motions/trial April 7, 2005today I sent copy of my motions, notice of hearing date, and my request to them for production of documentsAnd a 2nd answer to their demand for admissions.they asked me to admit copies of cc statements they sent me were correct. I said at this time Defendant is comparing them with Defendant's copies.Sent copy of my signature on credit app offer.I stated it appeared to be truthful.I know that was a bit childish. sorry. long story, posted on just had 2nd conference rodeomom
