JENDELA1
I just got a letter from EX stating that they verified this account I had in 9/96...it is over 7 years old! Isnt there a 7 year limit on collections? Thanks
Sycamore
7 years from the date of last activity, not the date it was opened. Which date is that?
blrogs
a little more info on the account would be helpful, date of missed payment, last payment made, a lot depends on the seven year period, also is this a negative or positive tradeline? to get better answers you should be a little more detailed on your question so the pros can assist you better I,m still learning
JENDELA1
It was opened on 9/96 and last reported on 4/04- it was from a car accident I had that should have been covered by the insurance
Devil's Advocate
Am I correct to assume you never made a payment? Also is this a judgement or just a CO? I would say call the CBR and ask when its scheduled to fall off and why. They might remove it right there when you point out how old it is.
