I have been working with my DH and my credit reports for some months now.

After various letters of DV and disputes. His Experian FACO today was

623 (before) 733 (today)

Also in the last dispute where I disputed a Collection Account, they sent back a letter stating they could not pull up his credit report with the information provided (although I sent copy of his drivers license and a utility bill) I did not respond.

Today the account was deleted!!!! I screamed when I saw it!

No negatives, no derogatories!

Thanks!!!!

I am really excited!! Also the account the CA (Palisades) is reported as paid as agreed on all the CRAs.

I have not had as good luck on mine, but I'm hanging in there and trying different things each time.

Also, the great thing about this journey is I have learned a great lesson and weve both been really responsible and careful with our payments and what we use our credit for now days. After all this stress and frustration in dealing with the CRA and CA I definitely am careful and treasure my credit.

Thanks to everyone on this board!!! You are all GREAT!!

THAT is the biggest message we try to promote here. This isn't a "one-time" deal.

They never taught us these valuable life-lessons in school. Like I say, they taught us to solve for "x", but not how to balance a checkbook. Now that you know, keep that knowledge as a part of your daily routine from now on.

x:-):D
