iamresilient
I asked them nicely not to call my place of employment. They called anyway. I do have a home phone number. They call there as well.
LynnInMN
Are you behind on payments?? They have no reason to call if you are up to date.

LynnInMN
Sallie Mae is the OC...they are pretty well free to call when they want. Have you asked for a deferemnt or forbarance....or a hardship???
miracle
There isn't alot you cando if they are the OC as they don't have to follow the FDCPA. How far past due are you? Can you take a forberance for while? Student loans are the hardest to deal with cause you are dealing with the government. Go figure. Please give up more details. Equaliser
I'm not sure I agree with the idea of Sallie Mae calling when ever they want. Thre is such a thing called harrassment and abuse of process. I would look into the FindLaw Website and check the case law on that. Sallie Mae is also obliged to follow the laws of the state it calls to.
