Hi..

I have read how you guys have gotten your inquiries removed. My question is how. I can't get anywhere with them. I was just turned down for inquiries, not for my payment history.

Could somebody do an updated sticky on the known processes or just tell me here. All together, I have 44 HARD inquiries over the past 2 years.

18 with TU

13 EX

17 EQ...

ANY HELP at all would be helpful.

First post on this forum....AoC regular branching out.

I have had success getting TU to remove inquiries if there is no connection between the inquiry and any existing tradeline. Do an online dispute and when you get to the final section where it lets you enter "additional information you feel is necessary", just enter your inquiries, dates and non-pp reference. Make it compact b/c you only get 320 characters. I got 5 of 8 off that way. Dont bother with ones that are related to current tradelines.

Again, inquiry removal seems hit or miss. Sometimes you can get a really nice rep on the phone to delete all you want deleted and sometimes you run into many brick walls. I am not sure that one techniques works better than another.. but it would be worth trying all the methods listed. It may take a couple of months to do so. Good Luck! -Jenn

Hey, Equifax just removed everything I listed to them. MARY was very nice about it. She was the best person I have ever talked to on the phone at that place!!!!!

GONE BABY.... GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even asked her "Since I was turned down By AMEX due to recent inquiries can I get that removed"... She said "SURE"!!!!

Stated that with in 10 days.. all would be gone!!!!!

Hey Thom,

He told me to do it the same way you would dispute a tradeline. Go into your Exp credit report- go to "CLICK HERE FOR EXPERIAN DISPUTE". Then you are required to enter the last 4 digits of your S.S. #.

That brings you to the dispute report MENU. I believe the 3rd option down the list allows you to view your inquiries. From there you can dispute those that you choose.

The only problem is that sometimes Experian has problems logging you on to the dispute area. I think it's perhaps because so many people are now disputing!

Good luck with it man.

Dev,

Does Exp usually do that? I acted as dumb as I could(not a big trick for me) and also told the person how great the customer service people have been to me. Also told them I could only imagine the job they have to do in dealing with the general public. Good job of a$$ kissing..lol?

Anyway, that's what they did for me. Good luck everyone.

Hopefully you got a copy of your credit report before you dipsuted all those inquiries off.

You really have to take a hard look at inquiries (and addresses), especially that many. You may be the victim or a potential vicitm of credit fraud. Wouldn't you just die if you found out you had just obliterated the only piece of evidence to prove an account wasn't yours? Seen it happen.

Without your credit report, it also makes it difficult to sent out ITS letters. I'll bet you could have gotten at least $4000 in non-PP claims just from ITS letters.
