Mannerheim
I expected a big jump in my credit, but it's actually spiked, and is now going downward. If when we dispute, we are arguing that the negative information is incorrectly reported, and is damaging our reputation and creditworthiness; isn't the opposite true, in that incorrectly removing positive items is also just as damaging (if not more so)?On many of my lines, they've just removed the line, which could typically be 21 positive payments, and 3 negative. It's killing me!Please advise.Thanks.
c m chase
If you have a positive account that only has lates or whatever, you DO NOT dispute it for the fact that it WILL probably get deleted. Lates are taken care of by sending goodwill letters and trying with the OC.Of course having positive tradelines removed will lower your scores. Don't dispute them!! gprncss
If positve lines are removed, you can request that they be reinserted. ofcourse you get the lates along with them.I disputed a late on an active account, got the whole thing wiped off. But the strange thing is my scores shot up like 60 points!! who am I to argue? As CM Chase said, send the OC goodwill letters to get them removed that way
