I sent a certified letter ( i have a signed/stamped reciept )on Jan .17...and have yet to recieve any response of any kind. ( I've been trying to get a reply for over a month now_ actually almost 2 months)What should I do about this????
Leadhead Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 If it were me, I'd send their registerd agent a certified letter stating you disputed an entry on your CR and EQ failed to properly investigate it.Under the FCRA they must remove it. If not, you will file a lawsuit for violating the FCRA.That should get their attention. The reason for sending it to their registered agent is the RA will forward it to their legal department.
