parko03
I know I should know better by now BUT I have a simple question.I filed BK in nov 01. There were two judgements included in this. Were already on my report when I filed, so I included them. NOW, I know that the BK meant that I didn't have to pay them but can't I get them removed from my report somehow also, vacated maybe? Also, one of them was for a medical that also has DH's name attached to it. It was discharged along with everything else. If I can get it off my report, can I get it off his too.??Thanks guys, Off to work I go, I'll check in later. Ya'll have a good Monday!
DocPC
Not in and of itself. It DOES remove the underlying debt. You can vacate the judgement based on the BK.
LadynRed
You have to file a separate Motion to Vacate with the court where the judgments were entered against you. Your reason for the motion - debts discharged in bankruptcy.Once you get them vacated, wait a couple of months and dispute with the CRAs, they should go away.
