I have on my credit bureau a bankruptcy with the wrong date, it recently went over

10 years since filing, but it is only showing that it is 8 years old. I notified the CB's

of this via mail along with a copy of my discharge and asked that they investigate it

so as to remove it. All three sent me back a letter requesting that I mail them my

discharge letter, I ALREADY SENT IT. Why are they stauling, and someone with

more knowledge of this PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO NEXT.

In the future, always send credit correspondence CMRRR. :)

For this time though... I don't know if you would really benefit from waiting the 35 days since you don't have mailing documentation. (Someone else confirm, please!)

I would just send what they're requesting - along with a copy of the original letter you sent - and make sure you send it CMRRR this time. No harm no foul if you don't need this BK off YESTERDAY or something. :)
