firstsource
That would be greatly appreciated. I am always learning this business; lender programs change and I don't normally have calls for this type loan, but it would be great to know a lender that does not insist on either land ownership or long term leases on the ground.Best Regards,Charles

Valkyrine
Well, apparently she isn't approved. This is the second time she has been told she has been approved without actually being approved. She is frustrated, but won't switch real estate "agents" because she thinks no one else will approve her with her BK.She just had to write a statement for her new "broker" (american freedom lending?? something like that) explaining why she went BK. Is that usual??
firstsource
Can she get a 35 year lease on the property? If so, then she may have a chance in getting a loan. Let me know if she can get the lease for that long, and if so I will do some research. I enjoy learning new stuff, and this will be fun.Charles
firstsource
I forgot, Letters of explaination, are common requests. Generally they want to know what happened, what the cure was (BK in this case, but could be a number of things) and why it won't happen again.
