DUH they aren't mine...I'm a female and have never had children. And, unless something went REALLY wrong somewhere down the line, I've never knocked anyone up either.I have disputed them about 10 times now...they're verified every time. Procedure requests show that the court verifies. I have a letter from the court saying that they NEVER verify and that "we get a lot of complaints from people about their credit reports...Experian and the other companies that buy the information from us get it wrong a lot of times - for example, if your name is Cathy Chase, they'll mix that up with C. Chase's records, Chris Chase's records, Cathy Chasering's records, etc and they don't care."I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and I got the same letter back from them that I got last time: "Experian responded and they said they can't find your records and to please forward them a copy of your license, electric bill, yadd yadda yadda." I'VE DONE THIS over and over and over. SHOCK....they never know who I am and can never figure out WHAT I'm talking about, but verify with the courts everytime. Funny though....Experian sent me a letter saying they needed me to verify my mailing address so they could investigate. Are you SEROIUS?? You SENT me the letter saying you don't know where to SEND stuff. Or hear/.Have your children ever been removed from your custody? because they will come after you for child support women and men alike I know it may seem unfair. If they are in error I hope you can get if figured out, if there is something there and they think your playing games with them you may need a day it court to get it corrected. We actually put notes about difficult customers where I work. Ya ever feel like someones giving you a fake smile which isn't sincere? maybe they saw the notes.... You know... the fact that it comes to something like this really should indicate that Experian needs to get their asses sued off!!! (Not that any of us would want an Experian a$$...) I know Chancy was probably kidding...but she may be on to something!!! If you got a notarized statement from your doc... wouldn't that just incite more ire from the jury! (In a good way...) Or I guess I could always appeal to folks hear to see how many I could get to go along with how bizarre it was.Depends on how true or false, more or less I guess.I hope that the OP can get this corrected soon if its really as its presented because that’s seriously harsh, I wonder if stranger things have happened? They're so stupid.See, what happened was this....I had one child support judgement on my report and I disputed and disputed, of course the "court" always verified. Well, I got a letter from the court clerk basically saying Experian was full of it, that the court nor its employess NEVER EVER verify with any CRA for any reason.This was me fairly new into the game, so I got huffy and wrote Experian a letter stating I knew their connection with Lexis/Nexis and there was no way they verified and I'd have them in court if they verified again.What did they do? They added two MORE child support judgments to my files and verified them.I've had so much on my plate since then, I haven't wanted to mess with it because, let's face it, my Experian report SUCKS anyway. Heh. However...now that I'm about to end one lawsuit (I hope), I'm ready for the next. Why not make it Experian?Honestly, though, they SCARE me. I've heard their legal biotch is just that....a biotch. I don't know if I could do it pro se or not....I might look into getting a lawyer. Hmm.ALSO...in my letter from the court, it says that Experian comes to the court house and buys daily filing in bulk. Since it's public record, they can do that. Just like you or I could go to the court house and buy anything we wanted (scary, huh?)SO...this means that Experian is not only the reporting agency, they are also the furnisher of information. They have a lot more responsibility here than they're letting on. It gets sticky. Because...I want to know what purpose Experian has for spending money JUST to put negative items on my (or anyone's) report. I dunno. I have work to do now. Damn. ALMOST.It ALMOST sounds like you don't believe Chase, that she has NEVER had a child. That a child support judgment COULDN'T be wrong.All I can say is that CM Chase is one of the most ethical people I know. And I know her PERSONALLY, not just from postings on this board. My uterus says it ain't got no kids...and I tend to believe what she says. And why would a story that mundane be made up and posted on the forum? How sad would that be? If I were going to make up a story, it'd be something a littttttttle better than false posting on my report (I am a writer, afterall). Sure it ticks me off becuase they're so arrogant, but it's just a credit report....it's not the end of the world. I have bigger fish to fry at the moment. Besides, I *am* doing something about it. I've been gathering thier lies on paper for several months now. I love you, Sultan. I send you all the positive energy in the world.
