forgop
Oh yeah, DO NOT GET IN CREDIT DEBT EVER AGAIN. IF YOU CAN"T PAY CASH RIGHT THEN, YOU DON"T NEED IT!If your philosophy is to only pay cash, why would you need 18k worth of credit in credit cards? I'm not really following you on that one. Paladin_Roden
I guess what he means is, if you don't have the cash in your bank to back up the purchase by credit card to pay for it at the end of the month, don't bother.
Sultan
I think his point is not to over extend your self, such as getting into enough credit debt that it will ultimately pile over. I believe you can obtain enough rope to hang yourself in the world of credit, thats why some people file bankruptcy, that or laziness. Any way congradulations on your success OP
Champion80
BECAUSE having good Credit is SEXY Forgop!! Its like having an IPOD, you may not use it but your part of the in crowd... You know, I am so very curious though how with those low of scores ( not saying it wasnt a great accomplishment) you were able to get that low of a rate of a house loan and all those high limits, I am now in the mid 600's, but I did have a couple collections still showing on my CR's, so I am assuming you got these cards once your baddies were deleted??Owe yeah, CBRY77, did you orignally have a household builder by chance?? I have one now and my reports are almost baddy free, so I am curious to know what your situation was when you get the GM and Corvette??
cbry77
What I meant by don't buy it unless you have cash is be sure to pay all your debts by the end of that month. Most of us here have been in credit jail and we are now out on probation. You don't want to screw up again and end up back in jail. Use your credit wisely. I not really sure how we got such a low rate. Our mortgage is through SunTrust Bank. I guess that we were just blessed.Household rocks! If you have an Orchard and pay on time for a year, you can probably follow in my footsteps. That is of course if you have all you baddies deleted.Keep the faith people. Read and listen you will soon be there too!!!
