CanUProveIt Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Ordered my EX report in Jan 05 and disputed some tradelines. One of the tradelines I disputed ( Oxford ) came back as prev. verified 2/04. I DV'ed the CA and just rec. a letter stating that on Oct 15th 2004 ths claim was recalled by the creditor, thereby ending all collection activity by Oxford. On Nov 21 2004 all negative credit reporting was removed from thic claim. Now, I just asked for a PR on this account, what am I able to do if it comes back prev. verified again?Thanks for all your help
violetstar Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Experian sent my DH the same letter, but after the thirty days were up I checked the account and it was deleted, it was a Collection account.
violetstar Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Oh I forgot to mention, the account was deleted after I submitted a complaing to the FTC and received the confirmation that they were investigating. I sent copies of the four letters sent to the CA and the fact that they never responded. I dont know if this had something to do with it. If you send additional evidence they have to investigate
workinninetofive Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Sometimes if you just leave it alone like you did, it gets deleted. That has happened to me recently. I got this bs, can't use your documentation. Then it got deleted. I'm sure some people rush and call and they might just screw it up.
