Disputed a Collection only showing on EQ....deleted..

A couple months later, TU shows a new collection....The one that was deleted from EQ, they could have just sold the debt a long time ago and didnt have it in their records, but "coincedently" both CA's have the word Delta in them, so I am researching to check if it was a re-insertion.

Main question though assuming it is a different company. I have already disputed and I am awaiting response, but I am having trouble finding the laws that a CA is required to do once they own the debt. For example, this debt was from 2000, they had my old address I moved from 3 years ago, are they off the hook if they sent their required mini-miranda and letter of debt to the old address, or do they have to find me and send it to the proper address before reporting? And lets also say I find out this company uses an alias to report the debt under another name and I was successfully at previously deleting with a dispute, what law should I ram up there a$$?? xxHellxx

Referencing the above post, I did my research and have absolute proof this Collection now showing on my TU report is the same company that was reporting on my EQ CR, I disputed and got the delete with EQ, now it shows the different company name and different address, but I cross referenced the phone number from my previous EQ report before it was deleted, and called the number I found from my research and it is certainly the same company, I was reading through the FCRA and FDCRA for a violation, got a headache reading so much, does anyone happen to know if I have a voilation??

Did they send you notice that they were planning on inserting neg info on your CR?

I'm having the same problem with a reinsertion on TU. The bad part is the CA DID notify me. The good part is I still have the confirmation of delete letter from 2002. I'm planning on sending TU copies with an explaination letter. Hopefully, that works 'cause these guys are a$$es.

Have you considered trying that or do you have info to the contrary??

No they didnt send notice to me, that is what I was looking for, because this particular collection is back from 9/99 (DOLA), so the address they would have on file would be my previous address, thats why I am trying to figure out if they still did something wrong. I am very happy with them, My TU report only has 2 collections left, 1 I will pay and hopefully get the delete when I am ready, the other this stupid one that will fall off in a year, but I cannot wait that long, I am looking to buy a home in 3-6 months.

I am posting on this again because I cannot seem to find a good answer with research.

I have a confirmed deletion letter from EQ (this was the only CR listing TL) for this particular collection, it has since been re-inserted on TU. I was not given notification from the CA, they would not of had my new address because the account it over 5 years old, The account number is the same, the account name was slightly different with a P.O. Box address (which poses a problem for CMRR) after a little research, it is the same company just listing their name in a different fashion, I am about to send a DV letter, I am awaiting response from TU on the dispute. I will follow all of the steps, but I am trying to find out if they violated already because of no notification?
