triton3k
Does anyone have a sample letter I can use to dispute a late charge on my credit reports? i sent a goodwill letter to one of my creditors on a late payment and she told me to dispute it through the agencies because thats the only way she can change it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
workinninetofive
That's bs, she's just not changing it. Many big companies ignore goodwill letters. That's been my experience. Just sent a generic dispute letter "never late".

This is a small company and I use to speak to her when I would make my payments over the phone so she said she'll take care of it for me because she just cant go into the system and change it without a dispute thorugh the bureaus. I think a lot of times, they tell you that. But, hey try it. Try just the regular dispute letter but never late.. and see what happens. Good luck!
