Methuss
Any one ever heard of CapOne's customer service promising to reverse a charge and then sending a letter stating that they decline to reverse the charge?Charge is an overlimit fee resulting from CapOne posting a "membership fee" to the account. Funny how I don't remember opening the account during the month they posted this charge.....
DocDon
You mean speaking to a misinformed CSR, having them be disciplined by their supervisor, and then a letter contradicting the 'agreement' being mailed out? Are you saying Cap1 posted the annual membership fee early?
Methuss
Nope. I mean speaking to the CSR, he puts me on hold to "talk with his supervisor", comes back and tells me they will waive the fee this one time as a courtesy...then getting a letter in the mail saying they won't waive the fee.And yes, they posted the membership fee 45 days early. Right before the statement with all my christmas spending was sent out.
Methuss
Hey Doc,Would you happen to know if a credit card company is required to refund the unused portion of your "membership fee" if you close the account?
