anti-something
when i checked DHs PG this morn, the 'customer disputes account information' in the comments section was changed to 'collection account' on TU, now TU for some reason does not show when collection accounts are reported. DH experienced a 8 point FAKO drop.so, PG being stupid, or did the CA update?
edubb007
CA answered dispute and that's why it was updated by TU.Hope that helps!
anti-something
i didnt dispute it with TU.
gprncss
Have you disputed this account with any of the CRAs?Don't forget when an account is disputed, OC/CA are supposed to notify the CRAs that this account is being disputed. Usually will say who reported it.After their investigation OC/CA, they will update the account to all they report to even if the dispute was only sent to one CRA.Looks like that's the case here. anti-something
not recently, i think the last time was back in sept before DH got surgery..it had been sitting there for months saying 'customer disputes' and it just changed today. gprncss
It could very well be a PG glitch. It could also mean the creditor just recently updated (they are not held to the have to reply within 30 days rule).
jq26
Another PG Question- Sorry to piggyback onto this thread, but PG showed my FAKO went from 640 to 599 overnight. The only difference is that one recently disputed IIB account has been deleted. Considering this IIB account was 120 days late then IIBed, I was thinking that deletion of this disputed account would have to raise my score. What gives? This thing is a mystery! anti-something
well, none of it makes sense, once you understand that, everything becomes much blurrier your score may have dropped because you lost credit history, the length of time that IIB account had been there, even tho it was a 'bad' account made your score higher.. the drop will be temporary.PG is stupid many times.. so i dont want to go buy a TU CR just for the hell of it! jq26
good luck anti- Don't waste your money until your ready to purchase a large ticket item. Its great how they collect info about you, create an arbitrary number score that affects your life, then charge you to see it. My score has been on the up and up, then after successfully disputing a horrible IIB TL, it falls off a cliff. Its bizarre.
