My first score jump...

I paid off an old charged off collection.

At the time of paying, I knew nothing of credit repair. I paid an old $480 charged-off balance.

It is still on my credit report as a collection, but with a zero balance.

However the balance change sent my EQ FICO from a 534 to a 596.

Not a bad jump at all for just a balance change.

I'm pumped. This may be a little inspiration to those who paid the bills, without fighting for deletion. Your score will improve as mine did.
