Mannerheim
Hello,I just got two judgments set aside and dismissed, and I overnighted true copies of the court orders to the bureaus. I was hoping for quick removal, but still nothing. How long should I expect it to take?I just sent the orders with a cover letter.Should I have sent them as disputes? Thanks for the help. Methuss
It still counts as an investigation and they get 30 days by law. If you provide more info after they get the initial communication they can tack on another 15 days. Most CRAs will use a call for status of your complaint as an excuse to get the extra 15, so it is important that what you send in is complete and that you don't try to contact them for 30 days after the date of receipt ont he CMRRR. Mannerheim
Thanks for the reply. Are there really people named "Vicky Banks" at the CRAs? I always seem to get a 50% English speaker from Bombay! They seem to know just enough English not to be able to help.Where's this list of contacts for the CRAs?Thanks.
