Flipper762
My wife recently sent the ACA the watchdog for the CA's regarding Calvary Investments refusing to anwser to numerous DV letters. The ACA sent out a response letter stating that Calvary was not obligated to verify to alleged debt. Now keep in mind we advised these people that we were fully aware of our rights under the FDCPA and FCRA rules but they still ruled in Calvary's favor, I just don't get it. codename_fortyseven
Dude, it is not the industry's watchdog. That would be the FTC. The ACA is if anything the industry's lobbying force, so I wouldn't expect much out of them other than a "pay your bills deadbeat" line. You just need to talk to the right people ala FTC, State atty gen, etc...

Flipper762
I was under the impression that the ACA was the watchdog for CA's. We filed a complaint with the FTC and we are just waiting on a response from them.
