divemedic
I had a recent case where esurance raised my rates after pulling my CR. Read about it here:http://debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26242Well, it turns out that in Florida, ss 626.9741 prohibits insurance from being raised because of credit without considering other factors. I wrote a letter to esurance, pointing this out but I have gotten no reply. Department of insurance told me that all they will do is send a letter and point this out to them. Why do I even pay taxes? I am considering a suit, but I would have to file pro se. Lawyers are too expensive. I would seek the $600 or so they overcharged, plus a few thousand for deceptive trade practices and court costs. For all of you that live in Florida, keep that statute in mind.
