gcooper68
Hello Guys, I have a question..I'm certain people has been in this situation..About 4 or 5 years years ago during my senior year and owed about 3900 bucks for 2 classes. Last year in 04 they sent it to a collection agency..I want to get this debt paid but I'm not in a situation to send what the collection agency is deeming "acceptable"..I will send what I can until my situation betters...Last time I checked whatever money is sentwill go to whatever account you owe...Unlike student loans I know there are noSOL..However, does this apply to Universities? LynnInMN
I checked with a friend of mine at the University of Minnesota. They can continue to collect indefinately but cannot sue you after the SOL. They can still submit you for state tax seizure indefinately if they are a state school.
