Jabee
Hi all Iam trying to find out how do I go about paying off my debt and repairing my credit. I am about 35,000 in debt and all of them are charge offs or repos and they are about 3years old, the lowest amount I owe is $6,000 to household fin., I owe 15,000, and 17,000 for 2 repossed cars, after 3 years of looking for a job I found 1 that is decent, and it will help me pay down debt. The problem that i have is that if I try to pay this debt down I will have no money to do anything else, and I will still have a bad credit score, and I cant file Bancrupcty because where I work I can become security hazard and they might have to terminate me. So I guess my question is how do I negotiate with the creditors to have them take less money, and remove the Bad credit lines without paying a lump sum, (cant pay a lump sum no money) I only can make montly payments. Thanks for your reply

DocDon
Welcome, Jabee. This whole site is filled with the information you need. There's no way an answer can be posted into a single page - there's too many variables (each person's situation is different than the next).Start off by reading the Announcement section, getting to know the terminology we use and the "rules of the road". Then we can start looking at your specific situation by having you give more specific information.
