Mannerheim
If an account shows no credit history on PG, but shows negative notes, ie 30 days late or chargeoff, can the whole account be deleted from the CRA upon request?
workinninetofive
PG is just pulling your reports from the agencies. I have some accts like that... there is no history but remarks. Your going to have to dispute it like everything else...whether or not there is a history listed doesn't matter.
Mannerheim
Thanks for responding. What's the grounds for dispute? No history? Can you request total removal of the trade line if there is no payment history? Also, did PG ever show you a sort of "ghost account"? You would have it listed regularly, but then the information from the account would be listed a second time, but with no trade line name. Thanks for the help. momof5
For accounts that have no history, I would dispute it as "remarks antedate the report by 7 yrs".One I had looked good on the surface.... Paid, PAA, no history but had 30 = 1 60 = 1. I disputed the lack of history to no avail, but I suspected those late payments occurred more than 7 years ago which means reporting them even as "was 30" or "was 60" is against the FCRA. The remarks and the notations that I was ever late was removed and I got myself a nice TL!
