forgop
Do CRA's have 30 days from receipt of disputes to get it in the mail and postmarked? Since my CMRRR shows delivery 2/14, I'm curious if there's nothing postmarked by 3/16, that they must remove all of them. I know there have been updates on my reports in the last 20 something days, but if it's not ready to be sealed and delivered upon their investigation, do I "win", regardless of when they validated it during those 30 days? Also, if they validate a dispute that I have confirmation from a creditor that I have never been late, do they really get a full 30 days to revise it? c m chase
If there have been changes on your reports already, I'd take that as a win and keep trucking. They legally have 30 days, but if you took them to court over a 31-day postmark, the judge is going to throw you out of his court room for wasting his time. And, yes...they have 30 days to investigate regardless of your information. forgop
I just got my Experian report...30 days to the day they received it. That being said, Trans Union and Equifax are now beyond the 30 days for both my wife and I. To me, if I don't have something from them postmarked by today, it's past the 30 days and ALL of my disputes should be removed, correct?
