Well, I got my last derog off my Transunion report, and with the aid of opening two new accounts, Bestbuy and Citibank Mastercard, my Transunion FICO score went from 650 to 761! Woo hoo.

I didn't pull the others, but Transunion has always been the lowest, so I would imagine they are all in the 700s now.

So, I'll keep current and low on everything and a year from now I'll be ready to buy a house!

It feels so good.

By the way, the last derog ( a legit charge off ) came off through the "procedural request" method. Couldn't believe it actually worked! Challenged them on it and they took it right off, because, of course, they do not have legitimate procedures.

Pretty cool.

Oh, by the way Miracle, glad to see you're avatar is back on this side of the yellow brick road.

Congratulation!!!! Yea!!!!

So opening two new accounts boosted your score? Was this immediate, or did it take a while? Also, what was your score when you applied for BestBuy - what credit bureau did they use - I might want to give them a try.

I am so happy for you!!! I can't wait until I am there!!!
