ThePeacock
I was denied credit after a lender pulled Equifax. Do they let you get thefree report online? The other 3 bureaus do, but I can't find out how to do it with them.
devil21
Hmm first things first....EFX does NOT have free online reports. Call 1-800-685-1111 to order a free report if you have a recent hard inquiry.Second, what do you mean 3 other bureaus? I can think of Experian and TU but what would be the third (if thats not a typo)?

DocDon
I haven't done this in a while, but I believe when you order the report online from the big three, it asks if you were denied credit, who it was with, and when. Then you continue to get your free report online.I believe this may still be possible with TU.
devil21
If you are going to quote me that extensively, you need to pay me....maybe I should start a devil21 collection agency? This is your dunning letter.....pay up sucker....btw freecreditreport.com is phased in per FACTA so depending on where one is they may not qualify as of yet... I had to go through CSC, it took an extra day but I got it in Adobe Acrobat format to download and print. Not to bad. If I paid, I could have got it direct from them.
