cnoob 10
Is it acceptable for an attorney on the opposing side to completely lie to you--especially if you're a pro se?I know they're allowed to do what's required to protect their client, but is lying or trickery allowed? I don't think so.What do you think?
admin 896
Depends on how they lied - what did they do?
c m chase 252
Agreed with admin...it kinda depends on what they lied about or did. The opposing attorney I'm dealing with lied, cheated, broke laws, etc....and they don't care what you say, they're gonna do it anyway. I guarantee the Bar Association wants to hear about it. They do have policies for their members.
