Northern Lights
I have a Chrysler car account that states it was closed on 03/2000 showing a 30 day late payment but paid in full on my current credit account.I have another credit report for same account from 11/2003 showing in prior 38 months from date closed (3/2000) 9 times 30 days late.QUESTION:::Im trying to get this account positive or deleted and since I have my 11/2003 report showing prior 38 months 9 times 30 days late from date closed 03/2000 this would bring this account into 1996 as first being late which is not showing on report. If this is the case then it could be deleted because it's past 7 years. Am I correct? If so i'll send copies of information to bureaus to get listing removed, but figure I ask first so I don't give then anymore information then needed. Valkyrine
If I understand correctly...You really don't want this account to be deleted if there is only one 30-day late showing currently... this account is helping you more than hurting you. If you dispute it with the CRAs, they might delete the whole thing (unless you word your dispute very very carefully).Have you tried writing to Chrysler (or whoever loaned you the money)?? Maybe they will change the listing for you if you ask real nice
Northern Lights
That is coorrect in saying that I would like to make it positive, but having no luck. My transunion report shows only 30 day late.My Experian report shows 60 days as of 10-1999, 30 days as of 2-2000, and then it has 9-1999, 11-1998 after the 30 days in which I really don't know what those numbers mean?Chrylser will not budge so my only recourse at this time, I believe, is to have the listing deleted. The item has been verified numerous times, and currently this year it states: This item was verified and updated on 1-2005 so does this make it appear like a new/current listing again? So can I use my first message in dealing with this account as a course of action to have it deleted. HeartRN
If you made your last payment in 3/2000, then that is the DOLA. The seven year time limit would then allow this account to stay on your report until 2007. Now if you became delinquent in 1996 and stayed delinquent, you could use that date plus 6 months, but that's not how it looks according to your post. I'm reading that you first had a late payment in '96, but then brought the account current since that time and continued making payments on time, right?Verifying and updating the account doesn't reage it, unless the CRA changes the DOLA in doing so. Northern Lights
This is the problem I am having with this account, it was paid in 1999 not 2000.Additionally then sent me the title to the vehicle and then called and said I owed an additional 390.00 dollars which I never paid. The account was then delinquent/paid in 1999 prior to their listing as paid in 2000.I thought I read it was either the date of last activity(dola) or the first time it went delinquent for the account to be removed from your report. I may be grabbing at straws here but my contention is that the account is old and my first delinquent mark for this account happen in 1996 so it should be removed. Am I reading to much into this?Thank you for your current replys so far!!!
Northern Lights
Just got off the phone with Chrysler Financial, and requested my payment records. They advised the records were archived, but they had located them and will be sending them out to me within 72 hours. Hopefully I can find additional information on my payment history so that i can get this deleted off my credit reports, because the current information is not correct.
