Flipper762
Are there any lenders that you know of that add up your three scores to come up with one score?
firstsource
I don't know the retail end, but there are some "odd" lender's programs on the wholesale level. One averages the 3, and if there is a co-borrower, averages the 6.One averages the top 2One takes the Predominate bureau in that zip code, and uses that score. Flipper762
our mortgage broker told us about this and I wanted to see if you ever heard of such as program. But what do you mean on the retail end?
OO
Retail end is where a consumer would go (shop) for a mortgage, their broker will then take the loan on the wholesale market and try to place it with an investor. Charles, you do not offer this product?
firstsource
Yes, I have lenders that have those products. I phrased my reply to flipper the way I did, as I know the wholesale end, but don't really know what is available on the retail end. I don't know if s/he is going to go directly to lenders, or work with a broker. Then to make it more difficult, there are brokers that deal with conforming and a little sub-prime, so I left it as a hint that if s/he is working with a broker that says "No, there aren't any programs like that", to keep asking, or to find another broker.
