Does Satisfaction/Release = Set Aside/Dismiss

I'm wondering if a company agrees to file a Satisfaction and Release of Judgment, does it have the same effect as a Set Aside and Dismissal?

Does a Release of the judgment vacate it, and justify removal from a credit report?
