beatboy77
If my wife and I setup a payment plan with the IRS to pay our tax bill, will that be reported on our credit reports? Thanks,Josh
Methuss
Probably. It will most certainly be reported if you don't pay the tax debt. It will depend upon if the IRS enters anything into public record or issues a "tax-lien." The IRS has their own courts and judges for adjudicating tax issues and the Lexis/Nexis scumbags patrol those courts for documents to sell too. GreatGadsby
i've used a payment plan to pay the IRS back taxes b4 and they didn't put anything on my credit report. I made all the payments on time, and they never said a word.
gdouglaslee
Credit reporting is voluntary and optional. Sallie Mae, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are the only agencies required to report. No other government agencies report, that includes BK courts, tax courts and federal courts, and people like me would never allow it to happen.
