eksmith99
So, I have begun the process of credit repair...and have a printout of my credit report from a mortgage companyi was hoping to be able to see what i need to work on more accurately and now I have learned that Experian won't give me a Risk Score....my report reads:XPN FICO-II N/A Reject: 9002 9002 RISK SCORE NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO MODEL EXCLUSION CRITERIAwhat is this all about?? this tells me something somewhere is wrong but I don't know where to begin and only Experian is doing this. willingtocope
Translating from the computer-ese, it sounds to me like there's something in your credit report that doesn't fit the computer model that's used to generate the score.Maybe you should call Experian and ask...although I'd bet you will wind up writing a letter asking for an explanation... eksmith99
i actually called Experian and to my surprise had a very kind representative say she was mailing the FICO score (free of charge) to my home in 7-10 business days....I know I got lucky with that! willingtocope
Well, no good deed goes unpunished. I'll bet you found a hole in their computer programs...fixing it probably pushes your scores down...
