On your reports it should have a block that has "Date of last activity" sometimes it's left empty.

If you have any old reports look for that block and see if there is a date otherwise request a payment history from your creditors and they will (sometimes) send you every payment you made to the company.

Also look to see when last payment received or closed.

Keep in mind also, amendments to the FCRA in 1997 say old debts can only remain 7 years after they "first become deliquent", not since the "date of last activity". Take a look at this article for clarfication:

7 years from date of last payment.

The CRAs say so on their web-sites, I think it is Experian that says so on its CRs and the fact is they do delete 7 years from date of last payment so they have established a standard that has to be applied consistently to avoid a class action discrimination lawsuit.

The date of last activity is the date of last activity. The date of last activity is not the date of last payment. The date of last payment is the date of last payment. True, some OCs do report the date of last payment as the date of last activity, but that doesn't mean that all of them do. The date of last activity could be the last time a charge was made.

Counting backwards from the CO date is the best way to find the date of last payment.
