I got a call from a cousin to come live with them and attended school in another state. I have a judgment against me and is working on getting it removed. However, wanted to know if I took my cousin up on their offer to come live with them will I be able to put money in checking account in new state without worry of it being seized?

For a while at least, yes. They can't enforce the judgment in the new state w/o first moving it to that state. If they don't know where you are, it'll take them a while to find out you've moved. How much time it takes to find you and move the judgment depends on the creditor and how hot they are to get their money.
